Sunday March 1, 2009 at God's Will Baptist Church in the Kalpohanie Village on the East side of Tamale

God's Will Baptist Church was begun in 2000. Rev. John Napadow and others from the old Baptist Pastors Training Center were involved. They first met in a school near the site of the present Church building. In 2003 the building was built with the help and participation of Bob and Bonnie Parker and the Seed Ministry of Tamale. Pastor Alex was a student from Bolga Tanga in the north. He was called soon after the church was formed to be their pastor. The church has a school building adjacent to it separated by a courtyard. The school building serves as a nursery day school during the week and Sunday school classrooms for the children on Sunday. There are also Sunday School classes which meet on the school veranda and in the courtyard as seen in the pictures. The men standing between our green Toyota pickup and the taxiecab are Mr. Lansah our driver and general assistant and David the night watchman at our compound. David was our contact person at the church and it was his idea for us to go there. He had requested us to come for some time, so I told him to get his pastor to invite us and we would. He arranged it and the door was opened for us to minister. I preached a message using two of the Bible stories from S-T4T and asked the question, "What shall I do with Jesus."

Love these pics and love even more what God is doing in these remote villages. Just wondering....is there significance to the circle of rocks? I've seen this before.
