Friends and Family,
For the past week we have hosted and helped a team of volunteer missionaries from Rockwall, Texas. Some of them are members of 1st Baptist Rockwall and others are affiliated with Heritage Christian Academy of the same city. There were 13 of them in all, lead by Mrs. Cheryl Read who is a member of 1st Baptist and an English teacher at Heritage. The team was divided by Mrs. Read into two groups. She lead the first which worked each day in the Village of Kushibo in partnership with the baptist church at Terripah and Kushibo baptist church in the evangelism and children's Bible school. The other group lead by Mrs. Vicky Daniels did evangelism in partnership with Koinonia Baptist Church and the Northern Ghana Baptist Seminary in Tamale each day and also did training for Sunday School teachers. On several nights the whole team participated in crusades in the villages. I assisted wherever I could in the villages and in Tamale and Peggy prepared a hot meal each day for the entire team. The teams mission was a success, their theme was "Rescue the Perishing," and there were many who came to know Christ. I will be adding some pictures to go with this as time allows. Now we must get ready to go to the East Volta Region next week and do Training for Trainers with leaders from sixteen churches.

Papa Pat and Mom Peggy,
There are no words to express our appreciation to you for the sacrifices you made for our team. You loved us, fed us, guided us and worked alongside us. We count it a privilege to have been a small part of God's Kingdom work in the Northern Region.
